課程概述

This 3-credit selective course for LIS undergraduate and master’s students will employ a combination of lectures, seminar discussions, and group presentations to introduce the students to a series of issues and developments that transform scholarly communication. 

課程目標
1. To understand the basic operations, ecologies, and evolution of the scholarly communication systems.
2. To understand the recent developments and debates that are challenging and transforming the contemporary scholarly communication systems and practices.
3. To understand the library’s roles and functions in scholarly communication.
